Mohamed Salah Issues Apology to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
Jones has disclosed that Mohamed Salah expressed regret to the group of players following the uproar from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a vital match subsequent to criticising the club and stating his relationship with manager had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I apologise.’”
The manager has previously declined to comment publicly on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.
Moving Forward
The player stated that the dressing room atmosphere was unchanged. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” he continued.
The midfielder also noted that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “I understand there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

The team's performance have remained strong in the games following the interview fallout. Jones believes the forward's comments were never meant to cause disruption.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a good place,” he finished. “It's behind us and we’re uniting strongly, getting results and on a positive run.”
