Brasserie Max's Sake Martini – Recipe

For something a little unexpected, sample this refined martini-inspired drink. This beverage is airy, scented and drinkable, and complements small pieces of parmesan.

Japanese-Inspired Martini

Makes a single portion

30ml gin – a quality London dry gin is ideal

15ml Lillet Blanc – a floral and citrus aperitif

15ml sake – preferably a delicate, balanced sake

Pour the gin, Lillet Blanc, and sake into a shaker, include a generous scoop of ice and stir for 30 seconds to chill well. Strain into a well-chilled martini glass and serve.

A sophisticated cocktail with Japanese flair
